| Mulveys commenced
trading in Dundrum, back in December 1928. Since that
time the Company has developed from a small general
stores to a multi-site operation encompassing both retail
and wholesale. The current Managing Director, John Mulvey,
has brought the Company to a new level by investing
heavily in the business both in terms of it's facilities
and it's management team. John is the only member of
the large Mulvey family still active in the business,
and has recognised the importance of ensuring that the
systems and procedures, essential in running a modern
business, are in place. Mulvey's retail outlet is
a modern and user friendly store in Ranelagh which
supplys hardware, DIY and lifestyle products to everyone
from the tradesman to the DIY novice.
The Mulvey Group's wholesale division started trading
in 1995 as Canadia
and has grown significantly both in terms of it's
customer listing and product offering. Canadia specialises
in hardwood flooring, timber decking, hot tubs and
a complete range of accessories which support the
maintenance of these products.
